Become a Member

Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club has something for everyone, regardless your age or your ability to swim. We encourage everyone to come and have fun and we cater for a variety of people, skills and experiences.
In order to become a member of the Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club you need to register on the South Australia Surf Life Saving Association website.

How to become a member of Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club

To become a member of Seacliff SLSC you need to join and then make your payment. Once you have done this, the Club Secretary will approve the membership. If you have any questions about this process or you need help, please contact our Club Secretary, secretary@seacliffslsc.com.au

  1. Go to https://members.sls.com.au
  2. From ‘Not a member of a surf club?’ select Click here to join.
  3. Select NO JOIN.
  4. Select Surf Life Saving Club.
  5. Select Seacliff SLSC from the drop down arrow.
  6. Leave I want to join as ‘Myself’.
  7. Select Next
  8. Type in your first name, surname and date of birth
  9. Select your gender from the dropdown arrow
  10. Fill in all Contact details and Emergency contact details and select Next.
  11. Review all information.
  12. Select a Preferred Username and Password
  13. Tick both declaration boxes and select Next.

Payment

You must now select the red MAKE A PAYMENT button.
Now select the red PAY ONLINE button.
Follow the steps to make your payment.

  1. the price list will appear.
  2. ensure the Transaction Type is Membership Fee and enter the amount.
  3. if you deduct a valid $100 Sports Voucher, please include a comment in the description field.
  4. if you want to pay other fees, select Add another Transaction and use the drop down arrow to change the Transaction

Type and then type a description in the Payment Details field.

  1. for a training fee (eg Bronze), select Course Fee – description = Bronze Award
  2. for a training manual select Training Manual/Materials – description = Training Manual
  3. for a security access fob, select Club Key – description = Club Fob
  4. for storage select Other – description = Storage Board, or Storage Ski, or Storage Board & Ski
  5. Select Next and follow the steps to complete the payment

Sports Vouchers

If you have a child attending Primary School, you may use one $100 Government Sports Voucher per child per calendar year. These are available from the Club Secretary on the beach each Saturday or you can download one at:

https://www.sportsvouchers.sa.gov.au/

Please ensure all fields are completed on the paperwork and then forward to the Club Secretary. Note if your Sports Voucher is rejected by the Government, the Treasurer will invoice you for the $100.

How to create your Members Area

  1. Once the application has been approved by the Club Secretary, you’ll be able to continue to create your Members Area.
  2. Go to https://members.sls.com.au/
  3. From ‘Don’t have a Members Area account yet? Select Click here.
  4. The Create Account form will display. All information must be exactly the same as what we have in SurfGuard.
    1. enter your First Name, Surname and Date of Birth.
    2. enter your Identity Confirmation Method (mobile is the easiest option).
    3. enter your Preferred username and then select [check] to make sure it isn’t already being used.
    4. create a Password and Confirm the password.
    5. select Submit.
    6. you will then be taken to a screen titled Confirm.
    7. enter your Username and Password.
    8. enter the Mobile Confirmation Code that you received (or the code sent to your email address if you chose that as your Identity Confirmation Method).
    9. select Log In.

How to renew your Seacliff SLSC membership

To renew your Seacliff SLSC membership you need to have set up your Members Area.

How to create your Members Area

  1. Go to https://members.sls.com.au
  2. From ‘Don’t have a Members Area account yet? Select Click here.
  3. The Create Account form will display. All information must be exactly the same as what we have in SurfGuard
    1. enter your First Name, Surname and Date of Birth.
    2. enter your Identity Confirmation Method (mobile is the easiest option).
    3. enter your Preferred username and then select [check] to make sure it isn’t already being used.
    4. create a Password and Confirm the password.
    5. select Submit.
    6. you will then be taken to a screen titled Confirm.
    7. enter your Username and Password.
    8. enter the Mobile Confirmation Code that you received (or the code sent to your email address if you chose that as your Identity Confirmation Method).
    9. select Log In.

To access your Members Area if you already have one

  1. Go to https://members.sls.com.au and enter your username and password.

To renew your membership

A message will appear You have not renewed your individual membership for XYZ season @ Seacliff. Select Renew.

  1. Check and update your personal details, most importantly mobile, email and emergency contact information.
  2. Tick the 3 boxes to acknowledge terms and conditions
  3. If the member is U18, fill out the fields before am the parent or guardian of the applicant and tick the 2 boxes underneath
  4. Select Submit. You’ll be asked if you’re sure you want to submit the form. Select OK.
  5. You’ll see a message showing Success and notification that it’s gone to the Club Secretary for approval.
  6. The membership renewal will only be approved if payment has been received.
  7. Select the red MAKE A PAYMENT button.
  8. Select the red PAY ONLINE button.
  9. Follow the steps to make your payment.
    1. the price list will appear.
